Rationale

NITI Aayog launched NDAP on 22 May, 2022 to improve discovery and use of published, government data through an intuitive, user-friendly platform. NDAP offers last-mile access to public data through a robust search engine and adopts a collaborative approach to aggregate/ source line data. The gender datasets currently available on the portal can be leveraged for generating intersectional and fresh insights, diagnosing challenges, discovering new enablers, and looking at spatial analytics across fragmented sectors/ domains.

The Udaiti Foundation is partnering with NITI Aayog and The World Bank to design a gender layer on NDAP, with an objective to improve quality & use of gender data to promote Women's Economic Empowerment.
